I'm very glad they were at their best for you, Caitlin, 'cause God knows you deserve it. (Faves and recommends) I really like how the photographer got the shot while the two of you have those looks on your faces - and especially, I have to say, while Cinderella's looking at you like that! I can tell she was very excited to meet you and I'm very happy she was.
I remember actually asking Cinderella - while the same girl was dualizing with her and also at the Veranda - one night in March about how she felt to have her name as a noun - as in a Cinderella or a "Cinderella story" is used to describe someone who's beaten the odds. Her response and the ensuing conversation was definitely uplifting:
Cinderella: I think it's very lovely that my name is being used, you know? Because being in a stepfamily, everyone looks down on them as being such cruel people, but I see them as being quite nice, you know? I feel like if everyone stays on the positive side, then their dreams will come true. Do you agree, Sir Prince?
Me: Absolutely. I try to remember that each day, but I think you remember that even more often than I do.
Cinderella: Certainly, absolutely - and staying humble is the best as well.
Me: Which I would argue makes you stronger than I am.
Cinderella: Oh, not at all, Prince. I'm sure you're a very strong prince. The fact that you can admit that means that you're strong yourself, don't you agree?
Me: I do hope it is. And if you think it is, then I'm very proud.
Cinderella: I'm very proud of you too, Prince. I hope you'll have a lovely evening - won't you? If you go to a royal ball tonight, I'm sure you'll make a Princess very happy.
